They are selling Crab Bee hoon!

Yup, you hear me correct ... not just their famous chicken pie (BIGGEST in Singapore), they are also selling crab bee hoon and its @ $14.80/pot =)

Placed my order and got myself comfortably sited inside their bigger shop



and it took them about 15minutes to deliver the dish to me. HOT and fresh from the stove!

Serving was huge!

I am not an expert in crab but the crab they served is meaty, not those 'flower' crab where you have to break all the shell to get those miserable meat out.

Soup was fantastic! Thick and rich in flavor and I do think if a little drop of wine in the soup will make it prefect!!!

But not all thing are prefect, the veggy was a disappointment. Seem like they did not remove those 'old' and yellowish leave and I found quite a few in my pot, anyway ... I do really enjoy the dish and I took 1 full hour to dig out all the meat, inch by inch, converting the meaty crab to empty shell.

Verdict: Good! Great value for money and the best part, their service is excellent with no service charge!

Kenny Roger @ AEON Tebrau City

Went to Tebrau City to catch Resident Evil on the 16 Oct. The show ends about 2pm and feeling hungry, decided to go around to look for some nice food.

There were lots of restaurant offering different kind of food and we were spoilt for choice!

We saw Kenny Roger at the far end of the road, and since we have not been into Kenny Roger for a while, we decided to give it a try.

There were 2~3 staff standing near the door and one of them welcome us into the near empty restaurant (it was pass lunch time and there wasn't much customer in the restaurant). When we entered into the restaurant, I saw at least 5~6 tables not cleaned and we can still see what the previous customer ordered!

The waiter lead us to a table near the entrance but we wanted to enjoy ourselves, so we requested a table with those big red 'sofa-type' seat.

There were 4 such tables (if i recall correctly) with 1 of them occupied by a couple and the others occupied by used plates, unfinished food, drinking glass with melted ice and used napkins.

Asked the waiter if we can take one of those seat and the waiter just lead us to the dirty table and just stand there... We were like ... uhhhh??? Are you going to serve us using those plates on the table??

We stood there like idiot for abt 15~20seconds then an Indian lady come to us ask if we need help ... *I was like ... harlow, do you need us to clear the table for you???* Told her that we want to take the table but it's not cleared ... she then quickly remove all the plates and cups, then spray some liquid onto the table to clean it and finish it off by sweeping all those loose food onto the floor... *Well Done*

Sit there, deciding what to order and placing our order ... all these took about 15minutes and during that time, I can see those staff walking around, doing nothing aka act busy, nobody bother to clear the table!! * Do note: Staff strength is stronger then customer* Later, think somebody notice that I keep looking at them and the dirty tables, they start to clear the tables.

My wife warn me ... better behave yourself, never anger the person who serve you food! So sit there quietly and wait for my food to be served ...

First comes our drinks and muffins...

Then saw the same waiter who served us now bring in another group of customer and very fast, the customer placed the order with him ... and within minutes, they were served!

When the waitress brings the food to them, I can see she asked if those were their order and they say yes and she placed it onto their table and they start touching the food! I was thinking, wa lau ... Kenny Roger Malaysia really boleh leh! Can pre-order in advance! Damn farking good service!!

I continue my Kpo-ness with that group of customer ... felt something not right, having strong feeling that their order is ours ...

Then the waitress came out again and say something to that group of customer and collected back the food and walk towards our table and place the food onto our table!!!!!!!

I was stunt at that moment and told the waitress that those ppl already started with the food ... after waking up from the shock ... talked to the waitress saying that we decided to cancel the order and pay them what they had deliver to us and we quickly pay for our bill ...

This guy then go to the cashier and tell us that we just pay for the drinks and the muffin is on the house ... We just pay and go ... no more Kenny Roger for me from that chain anymore

Prawn Noodle in Marsiling

Price $2.50 or $3.00

The stall usually open very early and often you can see people Q-ing up for the food. 10minutes of waiting time is the norm.

Waited about 10min and ordered the $3.00 Bee hoon + Mee dry.

The owner will first put the minced pork + some other ingredient into a small bowl and filled it with the hot prawn soup. Then he proceed to prepare the noodle with his special sauce and after doing so, he will dry the small bowl and put the minced pork into the noodle. He will then prepare the prawn soup and served it together with the noodle.

Soup is tasty with strong prawn sweetness and the best part is that I do not feel thirsty drinking it. Noodle is springy and you can still feel that the noodle is 'separated' when you put that inside the mouth.

Verdict: Can try and $2.50 should be enough for normal human :p
