Its is situated in a kopitiam at the junction of Jalan Besar and Kitchener Road. You will see lots of ppls sitting along Kitchener Road eating this Curry Rice.
In the kopitiam, range of awards from Makansutra to Yummy King hanging on the wall. With so many recommendation, this can't be wrong (i think)
I ordered the pork cutlet, cabbage and fried egg and the stall helper uses a pair of scissor to cut those dishes that I selected and place everything onto the plate of rice, he later ask if I would like to go along with curry or stewed sauce and curry I choose.
First look ... not a pretty sight and it don't seem like food fit for human. The helper pour the curry all over the plate (something I don't like about our local mix dish rice aka chap chai peng).
The dish, I find it so-so with nothing special. I can't find any excitement or surprise and it seem no difference from the others mix rice stall ... very ordinary.
Overall: If you want to see how they cut the dishes with the scissor, go ahead else you can settle elsewhere and not miss anything.
